Total Disclosure: Luke 12:2-3
“2) But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. 3) Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.” Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭
Many people live, think and act as if they can hide from God. They secretly do evil thinking they can get away with it. They fail to realize two things.
First, God is omniscient. He knows all things. Nothing escapes His notice. He is the righteous judge because He never gets the verdict wrong.
Second, the law of the sower is universal. Galatians 6:7-8 impacts a sobering truth; “7) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8) For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” This applies equally to everyone.
I live with a holy fear and reverence for God. I fully believe the words of Jesus; “But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.”
We will each face total disclosure for our thoughts, words and actions. There is a coming judgement.
