Manuel Update:
After consultation with doctors in the United States, Manuel is going to travel to Lima for a full stress test and then a possible next procedure. He will try to forward the stress text results back to the United States for a second opinion.
At this point the funds are $3,000 short of what’s needed for this step. We want to cap the first amount so the hospital is not tempted to do extra and most likely unnecessary procedures. That seems to be a pattern in underdeveloped countries.
Hannah and Manuel wants to thank everyone who gave toward this need. The past five weeks has been an emotional roller coaster for them.
Because of the C-section and recent birth of baby Timothy, Hannah cannot travel with Manuel. He has extended family in Lima that will be able to help with some logistics.
I start my journey back to the United States this evening. Debby will follow in a few days. We are trusting God for great outcomes for Manuel. I will do my best to provide updates as news comes in.
