The 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti 8 years ago today. Three days after the earthquake, GoServ Global Co-Founder Ken DeYoung answered the call to fly in medical supplies. After 40 trips, Ken met Eddy who was starting a girls orphanage.
This is how GoServ Global got its start – simply to sponsor orphan children. God had much bigger plans!
Soon thereafter GoServ Global met with Sukup Manufacturing who had turned a grain bin into safe housing for those affected by the Haiti earthquake. 60 of these first “Safe T Homes” became the Village of Hope for those displaced by the earthquake.
Today, GoServ Global serves in Haiti, Peru, India, Guatemala, the U.S. and is working to bring the Safe T Homes to Uganda for housing for refugee children.
