What does Real Love look like?
create a lasting space where physical activity and spiritual transformation come together for the people of Iquitos
Partner in a transformative project with Genesis Church in Iquitos, Peru — the Real Love Youth Center. This facility will serve as a community hub for youth outreach, discipleship, and sports ministry in one of the most underserved regions of the Amazon.
The project total is $250,000, and the local team has already set aside $48,000, with an additional $30,000 pledged in commitments. Our next milestone is to reach $150,000 by January, enabling a skilled volunteer team of builders and welders — who previously helped complete the first church addition — to begin construction. Their expertise and partnership are invaluable to this effort.
We would be honored if you would consider joining us in making this vision a reality through a gift toward this impactful project. Your support would help create a lasting space where physical activity and spiritual transformation come together for the people of Iquitos.
Progress update
Working together
Today we are starting what we call a “minga”—a word we use in Iquitos when many people come together to work for a common cause. There is no pay, but there is always lunch and a special Peruvian drink! It’s always so encouraging to see our church come together with one heart and one purpose. Please pray for safety and progress as we continue moving forward in faith with the Real Love project.
