Gaining Wisdom:
“20) Wisdom shouts in the street, She lifts her voice in the square; 21) At the head of the noisy streets she cries out; At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings: 22) “How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded? And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge? 23) Turn to my reproof, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.” Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬-‭23‬ ‭
Wisdom is often learned through the school of hard knocks. It can be gained through listening, watching, asking questions and learning from your own mistakes in life. It can be found through studying the Word of God and listening to the instruction of good teachers and observing the mistakes of others.
Once you set your heart to gain wisdom and understanding, it literally shouts after you. The important thing is to take time to listen, observe and learn.
Here is the secret, once wisdom is learned and applied to life, it can help you avoid much hurt, pain and suffering. You can audit the school of hard knocks and test out of many classes without having to enroll yourself.
