Entering the Fulness of the Spirit
“10) For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11) For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13) which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 14) But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭14‬
The Spirit filled believer has a dimension waiting to be revealed to them that that natural man and carnal Christian know nothing about. The Holy Spirit wants to open up both the Word of God and the thoughts and mind of God.
Paul pressed the Corinthian Believers; “Why be content with the spirit of the world when we can move deeply into the Spirit of God?” It is a daily process of pressing into the spirit of wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of Christ. (Ephesians 1:17-23)
Sadly, many Christians shun or avoid the ministry of the Holy Spirit. That’s why I have been devoting so much time to “The Promise of the Father.” The Holy Spirit was a mystery in the Old Testament, but we are now living in the age of the Holy Spirit.
If you are a born-again Christian through faith in Christ, you will forever remain an infant apart from a deepening walk in the Spirit. (See 1 Corinthians 3:1-3) You will be fleshy and not spiritual. This was the focus of Paul’s letter to the Corinthians.
Do not be content with average Christian living. Move deep into the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Learn to walk by faith and not by sight. Nothing compares!
