Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem
“1) I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” 2) Our feet are standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem,
6) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. 7) May peace be within your walls, And prosperity within your palaces.”” Psalms‬ ‭122‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭
This Psalm recognizes that Israel and Jerusalem have an unseen enemy. Throughout the Old Testament, Satan targeted Israel in his battle to prevent the Messiah from being born.
According to Revelation 12, that battle will continue until Messiah returns. The only addition is that he now also targets “those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.” (Revelation 12:17) He hates Christians as well as the Jewish people.
As the end times intensify, keep your eyes on the Middle East. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the spread of the gospel around the world. At some point according to prophecy, Israel is going to welcome Jesus as their Messiah.
As a biblical Christian, I consider myself a friend of Israel. I pray for the peace of Israel.
