Baxter Update: December 2025
2025 was an amazing year for the Baxter’s and Freedom Quest. One more grandchild was added to the quiver for a total of 30. God is answering our prayer to shoot them as arrows around the world for His glory. All of our children are walking with the Lord, and several are in Christian work.
The whole New Testament is completed for the Daily Bible Commentaries and in various degrees of editing and translation to other Languages, including Swahili. It’s so exciting talking to people who read them daily. The electronic book forms can be downloaded from the GoServ Global Web Page.
I am very excited about the growth of interest in the Freedom Quest Workshops. Yesterday, we completed a new edition of the workbook that will launch in 2026. It is already being translated in Arabic for a workshop in Egypt in February, 2026.
We are scheduling multiple international workshops for 2026. I expect over 1,200 pastors and Christian workers will be trained in 2026 from numerous countries outside the United States. Dates are lining up quickly.
I also keep busy with workshops, retreats and special speaking events here in the United Stated. These are the most fruitful years of our lives. To God be the glory. If you are looking for a special speaker for an evangelistic event, don’t be shy about calling.
As we look ahead at 2026, two countries are poised for significant impact from Freedom Quest Principles. The first is Haiti. In my last update, I shared the impact in Southern Haiti from the pastors conference this past summer. Around 340 pastors came together for ministry. This built on the momentum of the past several years with Haitians stepping up and filling the void of many American groups expelled from Haiti. The seeds of revival are sprouting in southern Haiti. It was wonderful being back personally to see the amazing work God is doing. But there are huge challenges.
Between the United States and the Dominican Republic, over 500,000 Haitians are being forced to return to Haiti. The government has already collapsed, gang activity rules many parts of the country, and there is already a shortage of food and supplies. The needs are huge. I hope to return for two conferences in 2026. GoServ Global is also evaluating the possibility of helping to facilitate the building of a Christian refugee camp in the north part of the country. This whole venture needs to be covered in prayer. It is still very preliminary, but the needs are enormous.
Second, I will be returning to Tanzania to conduct four Freedom Quest Workshops in 2026. Two will be in cooperation with STEMM and two with YWAM. We are hoping for around 150 – 200 pastors at each event. These have the potential of spreading the seeds of Revival across Tanzania. Please be in prayer for these workshops.
Finally, I’m going to lump Uganda, Egypt, and Belize together as locations for Freedom Quest ministry in 2026. These trips will be smaller, mostly first time exposure to the Freedom Quest principles, but significant to lay future ministry groundwork. As you can see, God continues to open international doors, but these trips are also more costly. We will need major funding help in 2026. I’m standing by faith that if it’s Gods will, it’s Gods Bill. I know it’s not His desire for us to shrink back.
The stories coming back from the trainings are too amazing to ignore. Many are coming to freedom from sinful bondage, being equipped for fruitful ministry and signs of revival continue to spread.
