June 24th | From Barb Meister, “Serving these last six weeks is a dream. Helping those that can’t help themselves (think about all or any of the trees in your yard falling down). The equipment has been blessed to us through donations. Dennis Anderson tells me we need diesel, oil, grease, chain saw oil, etc. and I need to feed the volunteers. Names are still coming in every day and the list has crossed 65 homes in Corning. A $25 donation is 6 gallons of diesel for the skids or excavator.”

June 11th | Thursday morning, residents of Corning, IA, woke up to down pouring rain and high winds. Roofs were torn off, trees were downed, and now the community is working to get things hauled to the dump in their recovery efforts. 

That Saturday, Barb got the call and an invitation to come help with cleanup. Monday morning, her and a small team hit the road with the campers. They are deployed there now to help haul trees & debris. 

Looking for volunteers with CDLs, experience running machinery, and skilled with a chainsaw. Please be in prayer for the team and the community.
