You Are In The Thoughts of God: Psalm 139:17-18
“17) How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18) If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.” Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ NASB
“17) How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18) If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭ESV‬‬
“17) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18) I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
These two verses are amazing no matter the translation. Have you ever wondered what God thinks about?
The sum of His thoughts are very vast. But included in His thinking are thoughts about you and me. Wow! God thinks about us.
According to the context, He thinks about his design for us and His image stamped on humanity. He thinks about the good plans He has for us and the potential of our relationship with Him.
His thought are for good and not bad. His thoughts are for our redemption, sanctification and fellowship with Him.
I dare not venture much beyond this point for it would be mere conjuncture. But I want His good thoughts, ways and will fulfilled in my life.
Take a moment and read Isaiah 55:6-13. I want to embrace this for my life. I want to enter into the fulness of every spiritual blessing in heavenly places He has for us in Christ!” (Ephesians 1:3) I want to know His thoughts, ways and plans for me. I trust you are seeking the same.
