Recap of Trip to Egypt
What an amazing trip. I left for Egypt on January 29 and officially got home February 12. We were joined by an amazing team from the United States and Canada.
The camp hosted around 200 people from four different counties in the Middle East. Technically, it was a discipleship camp but included a huge cross section of people, including unbelievers.
Over the week, I was able to teach the entire Freedom Quest Workshop that was translated into Arabic in twelve sessions. Each session was followed by small groups for questions and praying through applications as prompted by the Holy Spirit.
I leaned heavily on the team as my voice was very weak. Between sessions, I had to rest my voice. But God worked mightily.
Sins were confessed, strongholds were pulled down, deep wounds were healed, many questions were answered, several campers became new believers and many were equipped for effective ministry as Jesus was lifted up.
As the week continued, the grip of the enemy was released and the presence of God prevailed mightily in this mostly Muslim nation. The final service included testimonies and culminated with a spontaneous worship service such as I have seldom experienced anyplace in the world.
The week also included numerous conversation with people working in many Muslim Countries that are totally closed to the gospel. The reports of dreams, visions and miracles leading to conversions of the majority population was a common theme.
I came away with a sense of awe over how God is moving in these days. I also have numerous invitations to work in several new countries. I sense the most fruitful years are still to come.
With the Freedom Quest Workbook now translated into Arabic and the video of the workshop available, I am filled with wonder at what God has in store for the future.
I also recognize the very real possibility of hiring a translator to translate The Daily Bible Commentaries into Arabic. Once put on the web, they could be available to many across the Middle East. I can only imagine!
So where do we go from here? We need God to raise up many prayer warriors and faith partners to undergird these unprecedented open doors. Please consider becoming part of these exciting opportunities at this crucial time in world history.
Please contact me personally for more information as to how God can use you as a World Changer in these amazing days!
