A picture is worth a thousand words, but without those words we might not always know what we’re looking at. This photo of Ken and Terry, our co-founders, was taken at the recent Board Retreat. You may not know this, but 14 years ago was the first day of GoServ Global (founded under a different name), the start of a ministry that would take many people around the globe. All because of these two stepping out to do good. In the midst of all the then current conflicts, our ministry officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on October 31, 2011.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good…” — Galatians 6:9

Today, we pause to celebrate a milestone that fills our hearts with deep gratitude and joy — 14 years of GoServ Global. What began as a bold step of faith has grown into a powerful movement of hope, compassion, and transformation that has touched lives across the globe.

Since 2011, GoServ Global has been answering God’s call to be His hands and feet in a hurting world. Fourteen years later, the mission remains as clear and compelling as ever: Delivering Hope. Transforming Lives. Sharing God’s Love. Mobilizing People and Resources.

A Journey Rooted in Faith

Our story is one of obedience to God’s vision — taking the gospel beyond church walls and into communities devastated by poverty, disaster, and despair. Through our Safe T Home® ministry, emergency relief efforts, clean water projects, orphan care, medical missions, and more, we’ve witnessed firsthand how God moves when His people say “yes.” Bigger than how we ever imagined.

From Haiti to India, Peru to the United States, and many places in between, we’ve seen lives changed, families restored, and entire communities rebuilt — not just physically, but spiritually.

Beyond the Numbers

• Hundreds of Safe T Home® units built to shelter families for generations.

• Hundreds of mission volunteers mobilized every year to serve on the ground.

• Countless lives touched through prayer, education, healthcare, and discipleship.

• Unmeasurable impact as God’s love is made known through every act of service.

But numbers can only tell part of the story. The real celebration is in the names and faces behind those numbers — the child who now sleeps safely, the farmer who can now feed his family, the widow who finds comfort in a new roof and a loving community, the missionary who answers God’s call because someone believed in them.

Mobilizing the Body of Christ

GoServ Global exists because people like you step up. You give, you go, you pray. You bring your time, your talents, your sweat, your tears — and through it all, God multiplies your offering.

In a world that feels increasingly divided and uncertain, we’ve seen what happens when the Church unites around the mission of hope. We are better together.

Looking Ahead: The Work Continues

As we mark this 14-year milestone, we don’t stop — we press on. There are still roofs to be raised, hearts to be healed, water to be given, and Good News to be shared.
