Jared moved from California to Iowa with his family in July 2018 to become the Worship Ministry Lead at Keystone Church in Ankeny. He has two daughters, Jovie and Madden. He enjoys spending time watching his girls’ music concerts, basketball and soccer games, and seeing them get involved in church at an early age. He also enjoys staying active, working out, playing golf, and trying out new restaurants in the Des Moines area.
With over 20 years of experience in worship ministry, Jared has served in a variety of roles. Growing up in Georgia, he played and led worship in Atlanta, GA, with the Christian band Echoing Angels, served at multiple churches in the Atlanta area, and was on the worship staff at a couple of churches while living in California.
Jared was introduced to GoServ Global after meeting Mark Henderson while working at an office furniture store earlier this year. Through a series of conversations with Mark and other GoServ staff, he sensed a clear calling from God to join the organization. The mission to help those in need and share the good news of Jesus—both domestically and internationally—drew him to use his gifts here at GoServ as the Development Manager.
