Winning Friends and Influencing People for Eternity: Luke 16:9
“9) And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by means of the wealth of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they will receive you into the eternal dwellings.” Luke 16:9
Jesus lived the principle that effective ministry is highly relational. He put a priority on people. He came to seek and save the lost. He made genuine friendships with an eternal purpose in mind.
He came to build a spiritual kingdom and not a financial empire. He came to serve people and not to rule over people. He came to populate heaven and not to play monopoly on earth.
He leveraged relationships to point people to truth and influence them for eternity. He became the gospel.
Beware lest money becomes your motivation rather than reaching people for the kingdom. Jesus modeled winning friends and influencing them for eternity.
