Manuel Update:
Manuel suffered a serious heart attack but also had some pneumonia. The miracle was that he went from near death and his heart getting worse by the hour to near recovery with his heart functioning normally very wuickly. They were seriously doubting he would survive a life flight to Lima.
They were saying he had a huge clot that blocked 50% of his heart. They were talking permanent heart damage if he survived. They basically gave up all hope of saving him.
Then suddenly everything changed. The doctors are baffled. He went from near death to doing well in terms of 1/2 hour. At least that was the time frame between a terribly gloomy report to Hannah from the doctors to incredibly good news. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.
They are keeping him for a few days to treat the pneumonia and monitor the heart, but they have no medical explanation as to what happened.
The whole story is shrouded with mystery. It has God fingerprints all over what happened. At one point, he was so bad the doctors didn’t know how he was still alive. They said, “only prayers are keeping him alive.”
In literally 1/2 hour, we went from preparing for the worse any time, to them calling Hannah in and saying “we can’t explain what just happened, but his heart suddenly went from being damaged beyond hope to functioning normally.” The block or clot just disappeared. We are so thankful and giving God the glory.
During my message yesterday, I spoke about God still doing miracles today. I had no idea what was unfolding in our own family down in Peru as I was preaching.
Thank you to all the prayed warriors who went to battle earnestly yesterday for Manuel. We are getting encouraging testimonies from many people who prevailed long and hard on his behalf for healing. They refused to give up!
