GoServ Global is now planning trips to Peru, Guatemala, Africa, and opportunities in the Midwest. We work with teams to plan and lead a short-term trip to one of these mission locations. We are still scheduling 2025 trips and starting schedules for 2026! You can send us a message or call to ask about dates or other mission trips options.
Domestic
Throughout the midwest, our Domestic Team responds to needs in local communities, to natural disasters, and to help in disaster recovery ministry. We are currently deployed for flood relief and are looking for teams to come and serve!
Disaster volunteers clean up after natural disasters such as tornado, hurricane, flooding, or ice storms. We typically travel within 500 miles of our base in Albert City, IA. When a disaster hits, we evaluate the need and pray over the decision. If God says “GO,” we load up. Our work is to minister to those in need by hearing what they need and finding a way to provide it.
We stay in relationships with those we help at disaster sites for the long haul. Our goal is not just to be there when their house needs debris cleaned up but to be there when they need to begin rebuilding again. This type of work leans heavier into construction and interpersonal skills.
We have a great partnership with ABIDE Omaha and regularly take teams to do work with them. We can take youth teams or adult teams and work alongside the ministry needs ABIDE has. This may be construction, outreach, or other ministry opportunities. Dates are flexible.
Another part of our passion is meeting the needs of the communities around us! We believe good stewardship of our funds and equipment includes serving those in front of us. We help elderly people that can no longer take care of their properties, and widows, partner with different non-profits that have similar values and work alongside other people in need. Guatemala
To help Guatemala’s recovery and development, our volunteers take short-term mission trips that promote education, biblical truth and hunger relief. Participants on volunteer mission trips have the chance to interact with students at the school, participate in a construction project, and learn about the Guatemalan culture.
Peru: Genesis Church
Short-term mission trip volunteers work with missionaries Nelton and Bethany Noriega at Genesis Church and Hidden Creeks Bible Camp. Volunteers may pray for the sick at a local hospital, minister to the community, help at a spiritual encounter camp or do a construction project for those in need.
Peru: Lifeline Ministries
Short-term mission trip volunteers work with missionaries Hannah Baxter de Garcia and Manuel Garcia in their outreach ministry and church ministry in Iquitos, Peru. Opportunities coming soon!
Africa: Serve Africa | STEMM | OLCAP
A new partner-ministry for GoServ Global. Short-term mission trip volunteers serve alongside local ministry to set up Safe T Home® units as part of a birthing center ministry. Continued trips to the Hope Center in Liberia to care for the orphans and help support community development. New medical mission opportunities are available for 2025!
