Trip Location: GUATEMALA

Travel with us to a colorful, oceanside town called Nueva Concepción in Guatemala (South of Mexico in Central America). Nueva Concepción can be found about 20 miles from the Pacific Ocean at Sea Level. Due to its elevation, it is known to flood in the rainy season but remains in the mid to upper 90º F temperature range throughout the year. The spoken language is a dialect of Spanish influenced by the Mayan language still spoken by some. Nueva Concepción is a working town, where many people don’t study past high school (or complete high school) and work all day in the fields, making tortillas to sell, or builders/construction workers.

During this trip, you might have opportunities to meet the students and staff of Herencia de Vida Colegio (Inheritance of Life School), serve the elderly in the community, build projects to help support the ministry, learn about Guatemalan culture and farming, see the unique black sand beaches, develop spiritually, and explore a different perspective.

We want to work with you and your team for dates! Contact us to find out what is available for 2024 or 2025. Trips to Guatemala are offered from September through March each year. Summer months are too hot to bring teams at this time.

Your total costs include airfare and GoServ Global daily fees of $130/day, which cover food, lodging, and travel within the country. Airfare costs vary and will be finalized when all team spots are filled.
