We are so excited to offer opportunities to serve in Africa! Our partners follow the GoServ Global vetting program, including an in person visit to the ministry, before we take teams. Each partnership will be built over 1.5-2 years before we commit to serving alongside the ministry. With all the open doors in Africa, we are so grateful to find like-minded organizations!
LIBERIA: Hope Center
After serving alongside Serve Africa for the last few years, a new ministry-partnership has formed offering opportunities to send teams to Namba County, Liberia, Africa. There you will find the Hope Center that GoServ Global donated ten Safe T Home® units to create an orphanage and the foundation for a place to provide hope to the surrounding villages. TANZANIA: STEMM
In January 2024, we did a scouting trip to connect with various African ministries, including STEMM in Tanzania. We are excited to offer trips in 2025. Opportunities include but aren’t limited to: agricultural or medical focus. Reach out to learn more and get added to our list!
Kenya: OLCAP Clinic
OLCAP provides holistic support and hope for those in need, addressing both physical and material needs alongside spiritual care.
The rural areas of Kenya are characterized by widespread poverty, leaving many without access to essential resources such as nutritious food, adequate housing, medical care, and sustainable livelihoods. OLCAP offers comprehensive assistance and hope to those facing these challenges.
This mission trip will offer medical professionals an opportunity to work with the OLCAP Clinic staff to care for the residents of the Lukanji area. Jigger eradication is a key goal for the Clinic, so hygiene that helps deal with jiggers infecting feet will be a key need. We will also have the opportunity to provide basic physicals and medical care as people visit the Clinic. Additionally, we will have a portion of the team doing discipleship training with the church family and leading some services of the church.

Currently seeking participants for 2025. Dates may be adjusted when purchasing airfare, but are tentatively scheduled. Currently working on trips to Liberia, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Mission trip Next Steps
More about disaster response trips?
Disaster volunteers clean up after natural disasters such as tornado, hurricane, flooding, or ice storms. We typically travel within 500 miles of our base in Albert City, IA. When a disaster hits, we evaluate the need and pray about over the decision. If God says “GO,” we load up. Our work is to minister to those in need by hearing what they need and finding a way to provide it. Contact us to be notified when a disaster strikes that we will be responding to.
More about disaster recovery trips?
We stay in relationships with those we help at disaster sites for the long haul. Our goal is not just to be there when their house needs debris cleaned up but to be there when they need to begin rebuilding again. This type of work leans heavier into construction and interpersonal skills.
More about ABIDE OMaha trips?
We have a great partnership with ABIDE Omaha and regularly take teams to do work with them. We can take youth teams or adult teams and work alongside the ministry needs ABIDE has. This may be construction, outreach, or other ministry opportunities. Dates are flexible.
Other serving opportunities?
Another part of our passion is meeting the needs of the communities around us! We believe good stewardship of our funds and equipment includes serving those in front of us. We help elderly people who can no longer care for their properties and widows, partner with different non-profits with similar values, and work alongside other people in need. Fill out a contact form to stay updated with upcoming projects.
We also have a very active role in GoServ Global’s promotional events! These events often include assembling a Safe T Home® (learn more here), getting our name out there, and inviting others to join the mission of GoServ Global.
