Sumner and Tanzania Ministry Update:
Last night, September 10th, 2026, the Sumner, Iowa Freedom Quest Workshop began with a full house. This marks the beginning of a fall ministry marathon for me that actual extends through the end of October.
I am pleased to announce that the two Tanzania pastors workshops have been fully funded for 250 pastors each. The goal of 500 has been reached and slightly surpassed. God is so good!
Full funds have already been wired ahead, printing and logistic bills are being paid in full and I am traveling in economy class with barely enough cash for a Mac Donald’s cheese burger in an airport. No wasting of kingdom money on this trip. This is my preferred method of travel.
Your prayers and understanding will be needed. Ministry output will be huge. Time zones will change, sleep patterns will be interrupted, internet access will be sporadic, accommodations will be rustic, hours each day will be devoted to prayer and teaching. I am looking forward to worshipping God with my Maasai brothers and sisters in Christ. I fully expect to be stretched!
Because of these eminent changes, I will be suspending the regular Daily Bible Commentary until early October. I will send periodic updates as possible, internet service allows and personal skill sets permit. (The last of these three will be the weak chain in the link.)
Please keep me in your prayers. I am so excited about this trip. I sense God has great things in store for this unique ministry to over 500 pastors and spiritual leaders. Combined with previous events in Uganda and Tanzania earlier this year, the Africa numbers are even more amazing.
I am praying for the sparks of revival and awakening to spread across east Africa. The network web God is pulling together in Tanzania and many countries in east Africa is huge! He is doing something truly amazing! It is hard to wrap my mind and spirit around.
Thank you for your generous gifts and prayers that have made this venture of GoServ Global possible! The givers, the prayer warriors and the goers are co-labors together with Christ for the Gospel. We are a team!
Nothing is more fulfilling for me personally than worshipping Jesus, walking in the Spirit and spending and being spent for the spread of the Gospel.
May Jesus Be Glorified,
Terry Baxter: Cofounder of GoServ Global
