Take Good Verbal Care of your Neighbor:
“12) He who despises his neighbor lacks sense, But a man of understanding keeps silent.” Proverbs 11:12
This seems to be tied to the previous verse. Learn to bless and not curse those among whom you live. Don’t despise your neighbor. Don’t talk badly about him. It will come back on you. Take good verbal care of your neighbor.
A man of understanding keeps silent. Once words are spoken they cannot be recalled. If you have nothing good to say, then say nothing. Bless and curse not. You will never establish a positive relationship with a neighbor you speak negatively about.
