The Blessing of the Lord: Proverbs 10:22
“22) It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it.” Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬ ‭
I do not believe in the prosperity gospel, but I do believe God is a great accountant. According to Hebrews 11:6, “He rewards those who diligently seek Him.”
When you study the blessings of the Lord, they come in many ways and in many categories. They include things like being debt free, having a good marriage and a godly family, having peace of mind which amounts to mental health, a close relationship with God and bearing much fruit for the glory of God.
When Ephesians 1:3 is added to the equation, embracing every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ must be added to the discussion. Spiritual wealth has more value than physical wealth.
This can be called “kingdom wealth.” For many people, physical wealth becomes a deterrence to kingdom wealth. Jesus often told people to go and sell their possessions and give to the poor so they could follow Him. Many people are fooling themselves and serving the wrong master.
The counsel of the Bible is consistent, seek and serve God more than money and He will bless you in unfathomable ways.
