Tanzania Freedom Quest Workshops: September 14-29, 2026
We have two amazing Pastor and Christian Worker Freedom Quest Workshops coming up soon in remote regions of Tanzania in September.
I am working with local YWAM leaders who are organizing the two events. Each event is four days long at a modest facility that can provide meals, lodging and a meeting area. (Some may be sleeping in tents)
One conference will be for the Maasai people. They are the tall African tribe with spears and they mostly herd cattle. Many are becoming believers in Jesus.
Let me share a quote from our YWAM host taking registrations for these events. This quote was from August 7th, over a week ago; “We are excited and continue working the most preparation for the two conference here, we have closed registration for both places on 220 and 230 respectively! The pastors are so excited!” This is 50 more than we planned. They could have included more, but we are watching the budget.
The rural regions where we are going in Tanzania represent the hot bed of witchcraft. The pastors and Christian leader are eager to get solid biblical training. Each training session is four days long. Please consider sponsoring a group of pastors for this vital training.
When we planned the budget including travel for me and at least one person from the United States to Tanzania, transportation for the team of translators and helpers for the two weeks, plus food and lodging for the pastors and team, the cost came in at $50 per pastor and team member. (This was prior to the recent gas spike from the war in the Middle East. I expect some cost overrun.)
With pastors and team we are planning for 475 people. (The team counts twice being at both events.)
Please consider joining this endeavor by sponsoring a generous number of pastors. God is doing something extraordinary through these workshops. 100% of all sponsorships go toward this event for Freedom Quest through GoServ Global.
Currently, we have around 15% of the funds needed. We hope to send some funds over by September 1st for printing and deposits.
Thank you for being part of this amazing spiritual Tsunami through Freedom Quest around the word in 2026. It could not happen without the support of many friends and churches.
If abundant funds come in beyond our hopes, we will open the doors for more to attend. That is a constant request from the YWAM director.
Sincerely,
Terry Baxter Cofounder of GoServ Global Author and Teacher of Freedom Quest Workshops
