Calling Prayer Warriors: Haiti Crusade
Things are going fabulous in Haiti. Yesterday we wrapped up the 2nd pastors conference. Today is our final day in Haiti.
I have been invited to preach the gospel tonight at an outdoors Evangelistic Crusade. It has already been going for two nights.
They picked a location out near the airport with a significant number of VooDoo Priests and almost no church presence. I love the way the godly Haitian pastors take the gospel where it is needed most.
There will be lots of music and worship before the message and the gospel will be clearly presented. The invitation will include both for salvation and deliverance from demonic torment.
I fully expect some to be healed as well as spirits of infirmity are cast out. It happened often in the ministry of Jesus and the early church.
God is leading me to preach on the story Jesus casting out “legion” and setting a tormented man total free. (Mark 5:1-20. His story was used the reach the whole region for Jesus over the next few years.
These are dark area’s where the gospel shines and dramatic conversions can result. It can also evoke spiritual warfare. Please pray for these meetings. Ask God to pour out His Spirit and even save some of the VooDoo priests!
I love being on the front lines the way the early church was in the book of Acts; but it must be bathed in prayer. Please be in prayer tonight between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM Eastern time.
Tomorrow we start our journey home and should arrive in Des Moines, Iowa around 11:30 PM.
