Are you teachable? This is a quality that distinguishes between the wise and the foolish. There is always more to learn. There are other perspectives to consider.
The wise of heart will receive commands realizing they don’t know everything. At first glance the commandment might seem irrational, but given time its reason will be discovered.
Much danger and personal harm can be avoided by simply obeying a command. This is especially true with many commands in the Bible. They exist for a reason. You may not understand then, but they are intended for our good and not harm.
