We heard from Sunny this morning that Orissa, India – specifically the Rayagada District – has received heavy rains resulting in flooding. Roads & bridges are washed away and many homes are ruined. Approximately 40,000 people are affected by the floods, including many pastors who serve in the tribal regions. The rains aren’t expected to slow down until after July 20th.
Sunny is thankful to report that the water is draining from his boarding school, but that is not the case for so many in the area. Please keep Sunny and India in your prayers.
